Success Stories

The Rising Stars Foundation is helping kids from all backgrounds overcome financial barriers so they are able to participate in the sports they love. Here are some of our success stories
 

Mira Filiberti Rising Star Standout at Summer Sectionals.

Mira Filiberti is Las Vegas tennis player and Rising Star standout. Mira was a singles finalist and doubles champion in the 2018 USTA Summer sectionals in Denver, CO. 

 

Jack Kostrinsky Wins Ambassador of Hope Award

Jack Kostrinsky was entered into the Student of The year Contest where a select few students compete in raising money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Jack organized a 2 Ball 3 Ball Tournament at the Darling Tennis Center and it was a huge success. He was awarded the Ambassador of Hope Award and received a scholarship. The Rising Stars Foundation is proud to have supported Jack and his very important cause.

 

Jack Kostrinsky’s Grand Slam Tennis Tournament

Jack Kostrinsky is a standout young man from Las Vegas who entered into the Student of the Year contest. He organized a tennis tournament with the proceeds going to benefit the Luekemia and Lymphoma Society. The tournament was a 2 ball 3 ball event and was a HUGE success. With 60 people entering the tournament everyone had a great time and it benefited a great cause. We are proud to support Jack and his great cause. 

 

Rising Star Michael Andre Getting National Exposure

Michael Andre is a Las vegas tennis standout who has achieved a national ranking in the top 50 in the boys 16s division. We are proud to support Michaels training at The Darling Tennis Center in Las Vegas. Click Here to read the latest article about Michael.

 
Brianna Shaw Achieves #1 Ranking in the USTA Intermountain Nevada Girls 10s Division.

Brianna Shaw is a 10 year old competitive Las Vegas tennis player and Rising Star standout. Through hard work Brianna just climbed to the top of the USTA Intermountain Nevada girls 10 year old division. Directly behind Brianna is center court at The Darling Tennis Center where Brianna hopes to play many future finals matches. We are very proud to support Brianna and her family as she continues her success on and off the court. Way to go Brianna!

 
Hunter Katschke MVP 2016 Spring National Baseball Championships.

Hunter Katschke is a 14 year old Las Vegas standout and Rising Star. In the picture Hunter is being interviewed after receiving the MVP award from a game in the 2016 spring national championships in Arizona. He hit two home runs in that game leading his team to the win. We are proud to support Hunter and his family and see this talented and extremely gifted young man grow to his full potential.
